Answers to the most common questions.

Where do I start?

Open Practice and drill any topic in any of the nine sections — the four gold AFQT sections matter most for enlistment. When you're warmed up, take the full AFQT Practice Test from the Test tab to get your estimated percentile and category.

What does the AFQT estimate mean?

The AFQT is a percentile from 1–99 computed from Arithmetic Reasoning, Word Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, and Mathematics Knowledge. The app scores your practice test with the same section weighting (2·VE + AR + MK) and maps it to an estimated percentile and enlistment category. It's a study gauge — the real, adaptive ASVAB is officially scaled, so treat the estimate as direction, not a promise.

Why is there no calculator?

Because the real ASVAB doesn't allow one. Practicing without a calculator is the single best habit for test day — the Study tab teaches the mental-math shortcuts that replace it.

I don't see the "Ask the Tutor" button.

The tutor runs on Apple Intelligence, entirely on your device. It appears on iPhones and iPads that support Apple Intelligence with it enabled in Settings. Everything else in the app works on every supported device.

Are my notes synced?

Handwritten notes sync privately through your own iCloud Drive when it's enabled — write on your iPad, review on your iPhone. If iCloud is off, notes stay safely on the device.

Do the questions repeat?

Math and technical questions are generated with fresh numbers every session, so each topic effectively has hundreds of variants. Vocabulary, reading, and knowledge questions come from large original banks.

Does it work offline?

Yes — everything, including the AFQT test and the tutor. Nothing requires an account or a connection.
